I am Robert Noel Nungam Vidler Tjapaljarri. My mother was a Wokka Wokka freshwater woman and my father was an Arakwal saltwater man. Because I lived in saltwater country, I follow my father's line. I count myself an Arakwal and Bandjalang man, but I still pay respects to my mother's line.
