What do we want the arts sector to look like in 2030?
What actions are needed to turn our visions for the future into realities?
How do we create an Arts Front?
Arts Front aims to unlock the incredible potential of a conscious, connected and collaborative arts sector in creating a more just, equitable, sustainable and inclusive Australia – and a better world.
By focusing on the arts sector’s contributions to the broader cultural and social fabric, Arts Front is designed to complement and enhance efforts to articulate and evidence the intrinsic and economic value of the arts.
The work is framed by key international human rights agreements and aligns with the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals to link arts sector actions across Australia with global priorities and targets.
With the support of our national investment partners the Australia Council for the Arts, the timeframe for the Arts Front project has been extended into 2021. A national online sector gathering will feature the release of the Arts Front Compact and the launch of the new Arts Front Platform.
The Arts Front Platform is in live beta testing. The development team is working on it right now. The full Arts Front system will be launched in 2021.
Please take a look around and feel free to try things out. Features will continue to change and develop but any content you create (profiles, events, groups, actions, reports) can stay in the system.
Your content on Arts Front always belongs to you. You can delete your profile and content at any time. Check out our terms of use and privacy policies for more info.
If you have a question, see something that's broken or have ideas for new features or improvements we would love to hear from you!
