Hayley Singer’s research and writing practice moves across the fields of creative non-fiction, critical ecological feminisms and animal studies. Her essays have been published in Sydney Review of Books, The Lifted Brow, The Monthly, Cordite Poetry Review, Sloe Canoe, Art + Australia. She gratefully lives on Bunurong country. Her first book, Abandon Every Hope Who Enter Here, explores the literatures of the slaughterhouse. It will be published by Upswell in 2023.
