Dr. Erica Rose Jeffrey believes in the power of movement connected to positive social change. She has worked internationally as a performer, choreographer, educator, and facilitator. The first dancer to be selected as a Rotary World Peace Fellow, she completed a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Queensland and a PhD from Queensland University of Technology focusing on dance and peace. A Director of Peace and Conflict Studies Institute Australia (PaCSIA), she is engaged in peacebuilding projects internationally. Erica Rose is the Director for Dance for Parkinson’s Australia and through working with the Mark Morris Dance for PD® program, was instrumental in bringing Dance for Parkinson’s to Australia and launching classes nationwide as well as in the Asia Pacific region.
