Siglinde Langholz from Puebla, Mexico, is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher and thinker based in Puebla, Mexico. She is currently fulltime professor in the Fine Arts Department at the University of las Americas Puebla. Siglinde´s artistic practice and process interweaves philosophical concepts within relational and processual systems in different mediums such as installation, textile, sculpture, new media and art-science. In her process, she explores the ramifications and intersections between biology, the hand-made, and transversal environments. 

Siglinde Langholz has a bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the University de las Américas Puebla, Mexico, an MFA in Intermedia and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Maine. In her Interdisciplinary PhD at the University of Maine she researched mobile social engagement spaces in partnership with organizations such as the Design Studio for Social Intervention (DS4SI), SenseLab, and University of Concordia.
