James Arvanitakis

Professor James Arvanitakis is the Chair of Diversity Arts Australia and the Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Graduate Studies) at Western Sydney University (WSU). His research areas include citizenship, resilience, trust and the future of universities, and he is also a regular media commentator with over 100 publications. He works closely with artists, and is a board member of the Public Education Foundation, a research fellow with the Centre for Policy Development and an academic fellow of the Australian India Institute, and an advisory board member for the Herbert and Valmae Freilich Foundation that confronts racism and bigotry.
