I am an Aboriginal arts worker and artist from Adelaide. I started my career as an arts worker at Carclew in 2013. Since then, I have been involved in a range of programs and projects all with the focus of children and young people. I've particularly enjoyed and continue to enjoy programs that work with the Aboriginal community and use arts to preserve culture or reimagine it in today's society. I also have a dance practice which has more recently evolved along side the start of me taking on producer roles. In the past year I started an emerging cultural and contemporary dance company, Of Desert and Sea, with a group of young women who I had danced with over the years whilst at Kurruru Youth Performing Arts. I also am producer of the company which has ambitions to debut a show in the 2019 Adelaide festival season with intentions to tour. I have also in the last year have started working part time at Country Arts SA as the Aboriginal Programs Associate Producer which has given me insight to show touring and programming, including cultural protocols when touring with Aboriginal companies and casts.
