Jessica Clark is a Palawa woman with Anglo-Australian, Irish, Turkish, and French heritage, currently based in on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm, Melbourne. She is an independent curator, researcher, and writer with a background in art history and education. Jessica is currently curatorial associate for Experimenta: Life Forms International Triennial of New Media Art (2020-2023), producing an education resource in collaboration with Carclew and Lee-Ann Buckskin and Associates for the Tjitjiku Tjukurpa (Children’s Dreaming) Project (2019-2020), and curatorial and academic assistant for Natalie King at the Victorian College of the Arts. She participated in the First Nations Exchange Program for the 57th Venice Biennale (2017), and is alumni of the Wesfarmers Indigenous Arts Leadership Program (2018) and the Australia Council for the Arts Signature Works Innovation Lab (2018). Jessica is a currently undertaking a practice-based curatorial PhD at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne.
