Eryk Salvaggio

Eryk Salvaggio is a new media artist and researcher who came to the 3A Institute from San Francisco, where he worked in research and content strategy for swissnex San Francisco, an interdisciplinary hub created by the Swiss government to explore connections between art, science, and technology. He began creating work as an internet artist in the late 1990s, and has exhibited internationally with coverage on ABC (US) and The New York Times. He is now working with AI as a tool for art, examining GANs, NLPs and data sonification practices through the lens of avant-garde practices such as Fluxus, Dada, and the Situationist movement. He is also a certified futurist by the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, and has designed & led community-focused art-research sessions on futures topics such as climate change, transport, health communication, mourning and brain-computer interfaces.
