As a stage manager and general consumer of the Arts, I would like to to be working on and watching shows with more diverse casts.
I feel that indigenous people and Asian people (and all other non-white groups!) are greatly underrepresented everywhere I have worked. As someone who is Asian and white, I would love to discuss ways to involve more non-white people in shows. I am also interested and racially accurate casting in areas such as musical theatre, and equal opportunity casting generally.
Other things that interest me are making arts education more accessible (TAFE is making the tech course less and less accessible with ridiculous high fees), LGBTQIA stories, and women and NB people in higher tech positions (lighting design, sound design, staging in general).
