Caitlin (Rosie) Noakes is a Doctor of Creative Arts (Creative Writing) candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her research explores how narrative works of postmodern science fiction/fantasy might occasion ontological crises in readers. Her academic work has been published in Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education and Social Alternatives and has been presented on ABC Radio Brisbane and at the Woodford Folk Festival. Her creative work has been published in Big Issue and Voiceworks and presented at the Brisbane Writers Festival. She has worked as a sessional lecturer and tutor at the University of the Sunshine Coast since 2012 in communication, history, and creative writing.
