Caine Chennatt develops the role the arts can play in fostering empathetic, inclusive and future-focused societies. At the University of Western Australia’s Cultural Precinct, he is Audience Engagement Manager, and facilitates inclusive programs at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery that break down barriers for participation in arts and cultural life. In 2016, he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to research inclusion programs and structures at galleries, and museums across North America, the UK and Asia.

Outside arts administration, Caine is an accredited work-place mediator and conflict-resolution coach. He applies his facilitative outlook in projects that use the arts to build bridges between communities. He recently launched the Arts and Cultural Access Consortium in Perth - a informal network of individuals and organisations that assist arts organisations to become more accessible. He is participating in the 2019 Australia Council Emerging Leaders Program.
