20 young people from across Queensland are Youth Delegates at Arts Ablaze. In these Pecha Kucha sessions participants will share and talk about their artistic practice.
PechaKucha (Japanese: ぺちゃくちゃ, IPA: [petɕa kɯ̥tɕa], chit-chat) is a storytelling format, where a presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary each (6 minutes and 40 seconds total). PechaKucha have become popular formats to present in business and educational settings.
The ‘Youth at the heARTh,’ program is a game-changing experience. The program includes
- Remote Mentoring via Webinar prior to the Conference provided by the Leadership Team from Goat Track Theatre.
- Glamping Accommodation & Food for the duration of the Arts Ablaze Conference.
- A Youth-Only Mentoring Program throughout the Conference on how to transform your mindset, arts practice and how to be a champion of the arts in your local community
